The ceremonial initiation with Ayahuasca will open a lifelong relationship with spirituality. The new internal order that emerges is obtained from a transcendental dimension which reveals the purpose and meaning of life. During the workshops, we will have three Ayahuasca sessions, integrated in a harmonic process which will include discussion forums (satsang) about the experience. Each session produces a profound reaction in the body, mind and spirit. Ayahuasca sheds light into your reality, shows you what you need to heal or integrate in order to transcend into higher levels of awareness and harmony.
Workshop cost You can change money, travelers checks, or go to a bank if necessary, in Lima. Also, there is an ATM in the town of Puerto Maldonado. Note that this has a limited withdrawal amount. The cost of the workshop includes all meals, transportation from and to the airport on the first and last day of the workshop, planned activities, shared accommodation, Ayahuasca ceremonies, personal attention and excursions. Not included are extra meals, tips, airport taxes, flight tickets, travelers insurance, medical expenses, and personal items. The kitchen is lead by a French chef who makes delightful vegetarian dishes with regional ingredients. This contributes to the preparation of the body for receiving the Ayahuasca. Accomodation The Workshops offered by Ayahuasca-Wasi are held in the Corto Maltes Amazonia Lodge, 45 minutes by boat from the city of Puerto Maldonado in the south jungle of Peru. Puerto Maldonado is an Amazonian city accessible from Lima by a ninety-minute commercial flight (30 minutes from Cusco). The spacious wood bungalows are provided with all the needed details. Each bungalow has 2 big comfortable beds, for two participants, private bathroom with hot water 24 hours, electrical power and hammocks to enjoy the Madre de Dios view and the jungle surrounding us. The Workshops are held in this spiritually powerful place in the Amazon rainforest amplifying the results. The location and the energy that the place emanates as well as the facilities allow us to meditate peacefully while relating to this ancient tradition. |
Upcoming Workshops
The Workshops begin upon the arrival of the participants to the Puerto Maldonado Airport. We will provide transportation to and from the airport. Once you arrive to Puerto Maldonado city, the Ayahuasca-Wasi team will transport you the 45 minutes by boat to the Corto Maltes Amazonia Lodge where the Workshops will take place. Excursions Corto Maltes offers guided walks through the "trochas" of the Lodge in a hike. On the hike we will see a variety of trees and medicinal tropical plants. We will learn how they are used in local Amazon traditions.
By boat we will go on an 8 kilometer ride via the river Madre de Dios to get to the Isla De Los Monos (Monkey Island). On the island we will make contact with several different species of monkey such as Fraile, Pichicos, Orana and Capuchinos.  There is also a 5 kilometer hike through a mysterious forest which ends at the Lake Sandoval, inhabited by river otters, fish, piranhas, tropical birds, monkeys and a large variety of tropical fauna and flora.
