Cost of the program The total cost of a 7-day Workshop: The cost of the workshop includes all meals, transportation in Puerto Maldonado, shared accommodation, guides, Spanish-English interpretation, all planned activities, group ceremonies, personalized attention and excursions. Not included are extra meals, tips, airport taxes, flight tickets, travelers insurance, medical expenses, and personal items. Each Workshop will have a maximum of twenty participants in order to assure the appropriate attention to individual needs. Facilities The Corto Maltes Amazonia Lodge is located on the Madre de Dios River. Corto Maltes is 60 hectares of lush Amazonian jungle. A primary forest, palm trees (aguajales), Cachou trees and a variety of medicine plants make up the landscape. Here the participants will be in the best setting to enjoy the beauty of the jungle in southern Peru in the Tambopata - Candamo Reserve Zone. Bungalows The spacious wood bungalows are provided with all the needed details. Each bungalow has 2 big comfortable beds, for two participants, private bathroom with hot water 24 hours, electrical power and hammocks to enjoy the Madre de Dios view and the jungle surrounding us.
The restaurant can accommodate up to 40 people. There is a wide terrace, bar, boutique and lecture salon. The "Maloca" is a special tranquil center where the Ayahuasca sessions take place and where we can meditate. The kitchen is lead by a French chef who makes delightful vegetarian dishes with regional ingredients. |

The sacred ritual ceremonies of Ayahuasca will take place on the first, third and fifth day of the Workshop. During the off days we will rest and go on planned excursions which will help us integrate this incredible experience within a context of peace surrounded by nature. Beginning of the program
Excursions
We will visit the city of Puerto Maldonado's market, make phone calls and use the internet. We can also visit some handicraft stores with many Amazonian products. Don't miss the opportunity to take a ride in a moto-taxi. By boat we will go on an 8 kilometer ride via the river Madre de Dios to get to the Isla De Los Monos (Monkey Island). On the island we will make contact with several different species of monkey such as Fraile, Pichicos, Orana and Capuchinos.

The Workshops begin upon the arrival of the participants to the Puerto Maldonado Airport. We will provide transportation to and from the airport. Once you arrive to Puerto Maldonado city, the Ayahuasca-Wasi team will transport you the 45 minutes by boat to the Corto Maltes Amazonia Lodge where the Workshops will take place.
Corto Maltes offers guided walks through the "trochas" of the Lodge in a hike. On the hike we will see a variety of trees and medicinal tropical plants. We will learn how they are used in local Amazon traditions.
There is also a 5 kilometer hike through a mysterious forest which ends at the Lake Sandoval, inhabited by river otters, fish, piranhas, tropical birds, monkeys and a large variety of tropical fauna and flora. We can swim and look for animals in the lake during the afternoon. After rowing the lake we will return to Corto Maltés for a well-deserved rest.
