With your generous help we have started a pre school called Semillas de Paz (Seeds of Peace) in our small community in Pisaq. We started this project in November 2007 with a small group of children and the commitment of teaching them how to live from the heart and in harmony with mother earth.

In Pisaq, people are nice and simple, but the lack of a good education has contributed to problems such as alcoholism, early pregnancies and domestic violence. We consider education as one of the main areas to improve a community, beginning with small children.

Semillas de Paz, is open to different educational methods that encourage the will of learning, cooperation instead of competition, and development of the natural skills of children instead of rigid educational structures.

We are committed to create a place where children find a second home, and where they learn values like respect for life, earth and non violent communication.

How you can help

Volunteer teachers
We are accepting enthusiastic and open minded volunteer pre-school teachers from all over the world. We have a three-month volunteer program where you can apply. We have a dorm and kitchen to offer you at the school located in Pisaq town as well as participation in our Ayahuasca ceremonies.
